Select 128, 192, or 320 kbps before conversion. The setting controls the MP3 encoder; it does not edit the notes in the MIDI file.

A MIDI file stores musical note events rather than recorded audio. The converter reads the notes, timing, velocity, track programs, and percussion data, renders them in the browser, and encodes the stereo result as an MP3.
Which MIDI files can I convert?
The converter accepts Standard MIDI Files with .mid or .midi extensions. It checks that the file is readable, contains MIDI data, is under 5 MB, is no longer than five minutes, and has no more than 20,000 notes.
Can I choose the MP3 bitrate?
Yes. Choose 128, 192, or 320 kbps before rendering. Changing the selection after a conversion clears the previous output, so render again before downloading a new MP3.
Can I listen before downloading the MP3?
Yes. After rendering finishes, the page provides play, pause, and seek controls for the generated MP3. You can listen to that result before using Download MP3.
Is my MIDI file uploaded to a server?
No. The selected file is parsed, rendered, previewed, and encoded in the current browser page. This implementation does not send the MIDI file to a conversion server or require an account.
